I had initially started this tumblr as a ‘photo only’ blog of images that inspire me, so I could reference them in the future.  But I’ve been spending an increasing amount of time recently coming up with new ideas for my own personal photography projects, as I have more time and energy to commit to such projects.

So I thought this would be the place to talk about them, to allow my friends and followers to read about them, and to collaborate with them.  I’ll also keep posting photos that inspire, and try and record my projects visually as they progress.

Firstly, I have started to get together a portfolio page, to start to show people a range of photos I take.  I’m still not too sure about the theme and layout yet, and its very bare boned.  The photos currently featured on it are predominantly place-holders until I sort through them all and decide what ones to include on there.  In the meantime, my flickr account is linked above with a variety of photos I’ve taken from 2009 - present.

Secondly, I have an idea for a project/exhibition encouraging input and collaboration from the subjects involved (rather than merely being ‘in’ a photo).  I will be writing about this in greater detail very soon to get the ball rolling with the project, and to see where it ends up!
